Gosh December seems an age away but with the ice and snow that has covered Shropshire for most of January and February it seems like only yesterday.

My heart goes out to the family of Bill Barker, the brave policeman who lost his life in the floods and to the people who have lost their homes, I weep for them. The sun shone, the crowds came and all authors sold books. Wrekin Writers also sold three copies of the 2008 anthology (thanks Julie's relatives, much appreciated).
